Please note that at present there are only 2 public services available at St Michael’s: a 10.00am Communion Service each Sunday, and a 10.00am service of Morning Prayer each Wednesday. For details please follow this link.

Sunday 8am

Holy Eucharist  – traditional language service.
(45 minutes)

Sunday 9.30am

Parish Eucharist  – modern language service with robed choir.
(70 minutes)

Family Service  – Takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month.  This is a family communion service at St. Michael’s Church.  This is a shorter service and all age talk with families in mind.

Sunday 10.00am (at All Saints)

Holy Communion  – modern language service.
(60 minutes)

Sunday 11.15am

‘Networks Services’ – all-age services designed with families in mind.  Please see our Networks Newsletter for information about which services are taking place.

Sunday 6pm

Evening Prayer – a quiet said service from the Book of Common Prayer, includes a short address or reflection.
(45 minutes)

Raise the Roof – a monthly contemporary praise service usually held on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
(90 minutes)

Choral Evensong  –  from the Book of Common Prayer with hymns, a robed choir and sermon.
(60 minutes)

Taize Service – with chants and prayers and silence led by clergy and supported by the choir.
(45 minutes)

Weekday services 

Monday  – Thursday  8am

Morning Prayer  –  said service from Common Worship.
(30 minutes)

Tuesday 6.30pm

Mid-week Eucharist  –  a modern language service with occasional unaccompanied hymn and short reflection.
(35 minutes)


NB:  All those who have been baptised within any church denomination are welcome to receive communion.  Everyone is invited to the altar for a blessing.
