We have a very active Church Choir, not only in terms of performing but
with a busy social life.
We perform weekly at the 10am Sunday service, which is either a Family
Service (Family Praise) on the of the month, or a Sung Communion
(Parish Eucharist). For Communion services there are hymns and an Anthem.
The choir rehearse on Friday evenings between 6.30pm and 8pm.
The choir children produced the choir poster which appears on the church
notice board and in the magazine.
Our social activities in 2004 took us to London, where seven of us plus
partners and supporters walked a ten mile charity walk over the bridges
of London. We raised over £500 for the Childrens' Society. Each year we
have a summer BBQ, parties at New Year, and other festivals. At Christmas
we take to the streets carol singing, and at Easter we often perform an
Easter oratorio or choral work.
